I built my pond with the help of my brother Eddie nearly three years ago now. It is of a cavity wall type construction insulated with polystyrene sheets. The ponds measurements are 7 feet quarter circle by three feet deep for the main tank and a two by two foot wide by one foot deep top tank which is filled with reeds and oxygenates I lined the tanks with bitumen paint it does exactly what it does not say on the tin! It recommends three coats, I ended up with 15 coats and it still leaks! Water has a way of finding its way out if it is there. Regards Richard |
